Although there are many research papers about the translation of Murakami literature in China. However, there are few studies on his novel "After Dark". Among these papers, the comparative analysis of the three major translations of the mainland and Taiwan has not yet been seen. In this thesis, the three Chinese translations of "After Dark" are chosen as the subject. I will make a comparative study between the translations and the original text, and focus on one of the most distinctive features of this work - the symbolic symbol, then analyze the translation strategy from the perspective of whether the translation faithfully conveys the original style, and explore the factors that affect the literary translation activities.

Visualization Analysis for China’s Business Schools Accreditation Studies Based on Knowledge Mapping

Visualization Analysis for China’s Business Schools Accreditation Studies Based on Knowledge Mapping

Pages 250-256

Author Pengbin GaoYiduo SongXue L

Abstract The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading thematic areas within the research field related to Business Schools Accreditation in China. Based on the data of the best MBA ranking in China selected by Manager Magazine, DEA was used to evaluate the efficiency of EMBA programs of top 36 business schools in China. This paper also compared the efficiency score of each business school with the rank score assigned by the traditional ranking. The results show that the overall EMBA programs have a high value on technical efficiency due to the high pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Different business schools have different efficiency. The findings reveal areas of incoherence between efficiency measures and rankings.

The Use of Modern Digital Technologies in Engineering Education on the Example of the Online Course «Engineering Mechanics»

The Use of Modern Digital Technologies in Engineering Education on the Example of the Online Course «Engineering Mechanics»

Pages 264-267

Author S.A. ACE teaching mode in this article is based on interactive teaching theory, constructivist learning theory, and is guided by multi-modal teaching theory. Through the half-year teaching practice, it is considered that the ACE translation teaching mode is worth further improvement and promotion because ACE mode is conducive to the cultivation of students’ translation ability, that is, the skills, methods or actions used to solve problems or improve the translation effect, including planning strategies, execution strategies, evaluation and remediation strategies.

Promoting College Students’ Critical Thinking in English Reading Flipped Classroom

Promoting College Students’ Critical Thinking in English Reading Flipped Classroom

Pages 274-281

Author hang y

Abstract In order to promote critical thinking abilities of non-English major students, this study randomly selected four first-year college classes of non-English majors in 2018, and divided them into a control group and an experimental group. The control group adopted the traditional English teaching method, and the experimental group relied on the flipped classroom mode for cultivating students’ critical thinking abilities. Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory-Chinese Version (CTDI-CV) was used as a measuring tool to collect data. Meanwhile, interviews were conducted to observe the changes of students’ critical thinking. The results showed that differences between the control group and the experimental group were statistically significant in four aspects: self-confidence, truth-seeking, open-mindedness, and curiosity. There was no significant difference in other aspects. These results were consistent with the ones of the interviews. In conclusion, training students’ critical thinking in the flipped classroom is conductive to the development of students’ thinking skills, including in-depth thinking, courage to ask questions, willingness to accept others’ suggestions, and a more inclusive and opened learning attitude, all of which help students improve their critical thinking abilities.

An Analysis of the Literature’s Truth, Goodness and Beauty

An Analysis of the Literature’s Truth, Goodness and Beauty

Pages 282-287

Author Yunhe ZhangPanpan Ca

Abstract Literary works are an important medium for the exploration of truth, goodness and beauty, of which human beings have never stopped the discussion and pursuit. First of all, this paper gives an overview of what are truth, goodness and beauty. Then it summarizes what has been the focus of the unity of truth, goodness and beauty between China and the West. Finally, this paper values the analysis of the truth, goodness and beauty of literary works: the facts of literature should be true, the purpose should be good, and the form should be beautiful. Based on this, the author puts forward the relationship between the three harmonies with the unity of truth, goodness and beauty in literary works, which the author believes is the ultimate pursuit of literature.

Analysis and Study on the Effect of PNF Stretching and Resistance Training on the Rehabilitation of Superior Chiasma Syndrome

Analysis and Study on the Effect of PNF Stretching and Resistance Training on the Rehabilitation of Superior Chiasma Syndrome

Pages 288-295

Author Lihua G

Abstract In this paper, 18 subjects with superior chiasma syndrome were analyzed and studied according to the inducement and correction method of superior chiasma syndrome by questionnaire survey, literature review and experimental research. To explore the effect of bad posture on the posture of patients, and to explore the effect of PNF stretching, anti-resistance training and manual loosening on the rehabilitation of patients with superior chiasma. Methods: the subjects were divided into three experimental groups, A, B and C, for 6 weeks, 4 times a week for resistance training and PNF stretching training. It has been proved that the population with chest ambushes for a long time will cause the imbalance of muscle strength of shoulder, neck and chest, abnormal physiological curvature of cervical vertebrae and thoracic vertebrae, and induce chronic injury of shoulder and neck muscles and soft tissue, which will lead to symptoms of superior chiasma syndrome. According to the designed rehabilitation training experiment, PNF stretching training and anti-resistance training were carried out for the shoulder and neck muscles which caused superior chiasma syndrome, and the rehabilitation effect was very significant, which was obviously better than that of PNF stretching or resistance training alone. Therefore, PNF stretching and resistance training should be fully combined in rehabilitation training to improve the posture problem in order to achieve twice the result with half the effort.

Analysis of the Relationship between Internationalization and the Quality of Ed.D. in U.S.A

Analysis of the Relationship between Internationalization and the Quality of Ed.D. in U.S.A

Pages 296-304

Author Jiedan WangFei Lon

Abstract The universal phenomenon of internationalization as mainstream of higher education is often based on the assumption that there is value added to the quality of higher education systems when enhancing the international dimension of teaching, research and service (Knight, 1997).
