The journal receives manuscripts written in Chinese or English. Research on Error Propagation and Accuracy Control of 3D Laser Point Cloud Data Registration

Abstract: Due to the rapid development of mapping technology, three-dimensional laser scanning technology in the field of surveying and mapping applications are increasingly widespread, but the three-dimensional point cloud registration error propagation model has not yet unified, and not widely used in three-dimensional laser scanning. In this paper, the registration of the point cloud is analyzed by introducing the principle of photogrammetry. The propagation law of the three-dimensional laser point cloud registration error is discussed, and the traditional control measurement method is applied to the laser scanning surveying and optimized Perfect the error propagation model. Through the experiment, the quantitative relationship between the registration precision and the accumulation of multi - station registration error is verified, and the quality of the point cloud registration is estimated and the precision of the station can be controlled.
