Application and Value of BIM Technology in Socket-Type Disk-Buckle Steel Pipe Support System

Abstract: The socket-type disk-buckle steel pipe support system has good development prospects. However, as a new industry which just entered the construction industry, there is lack of scientific data statistics on the statistics of accessories, the layout of supports, and the comparison with the specific costs of steel pipe supports. This paper takes the Pudong Airport project as an example to explore the related application of Building Information Model (BIM) technology in socket-type disk-buckle steel pipe support system, thus reflecting the value of BIM technology.
