The Impact of Standardized Outpatient Nursing on Nurse Patient Disputes and Outpatient Work Efficiency

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the impact of standardized outpatient nursing on nurse patient disputes and outpatient work efficiency. Method: Using a random number table,100 outpatient patients from a certain hospital from December 2022 to May 2023 were divided into an observation group (receiving standardized nursing on top of routine nursing) and a control group (receiving routine nursing), with 50 patients in each group. The incidence of nurse patient disputes, work efficiency, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: During the study, the incidence of nurse patient disputes in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05), and the work efficiency and nursing satisfaction were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Standardized outpatient nursing can effectively reduce nurse patient disputes, improve outpatient work efficiency and patient satisfaction.
