Abstract: Objective: To explore the application effect of multidisciplinary cooperation mode of obstetric nursing team in maternal care of pregnant women with diabetes mellitus (GDM). Method: 96 GDM mothers admitted to our hospital from October 2023 to October 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group (48 cases) and a control group (48 cases). The control group received routine obstetric care, while the observation group implemented a multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model. Compare the effectiveness of blood glucose control, pregnancy outcomes, neonatal complications, maternal psychological status, and nursing satisfaction between two groups of parturients. Result: The fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose in the observation group during late pregnancy were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); The cesarean section rate (20.83%) and incidence of gestational hypertension (6.25%) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (39.58%, 20.83%), while the vaginal delivery rate (8.33%) was not significantly different from that in the control group (10.42%) (P>0.05); The incidence of macrosomia and hypoglycemia in the observation group (4.17%, 6.25%) was lower than that in the control group (16.67%, 20.83%) (P<0.05); The postpartum SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction rate (93.75%) was higher than that of the control group (77.08%) (P<0.05). Conclusion: The multidisciplinary collaboration model can effectively improve blood glucose control in GDM mothers, optimize pregnancy outcomes, reduce maternal and infant complications, enhance maternal psychological status and satisfaction, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
