Abstract: Objective: To explore the value of precision nursing intervention in the operating room based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs in improving perioperative psychological status and postoperative quality of life in ovarian cancer patients, providing evidence-based support for high-quality perioperative nursing care. Methods: A total of 96 ovarian cancer patients undergoing surgery in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine operating room nursing care, while the observation group received additional precision nursing intervention based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs on top of routine care. The anxiety self-rating scale (SAS), depression self-rating scale (SDS) scores, and one-month postoperative Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Ovarian (FACT-O) scores were compared between the two groups, along with perioperative stress indicators and nursing satisfaction. Results: The observation group exhibited lower SAS and SDS scores than the control group (P<0.001). The observation group's FACT-O subscale and total scores were higher than those of the control group (P<0.001). The observation group demonstrated lower perioperative systolic blood pressure fluctuations and heart rate fluctuations than the control group (P<0.001). The observation group's overall satisfaction was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Precision nursing in the operating room based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs effectively alleviates negative emotions in ovarian cancer patients, reduces perioperative stress responses, significantly improves postoperative quality of life, and demonstrates outstanding clinical application value.
