Effect of Comprehensive Nursing Guided by Critical Thinking on Coping Strategies and Cardiac Function in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction Complicated by Arrhythmias

Abstract: Objective: To explore the clinical impact of comprehensive nursing guided by critical thinking on coping strategies and cardiac function recovery in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) complicated by arrhythmias. Methods: A total of 66 patients with AMI and arrhythmias admitted to our hospital from May 2024 to July 2025 were randomly divided into two groups. The routine group (33 cases) received conventional nursing, while the intervention group (33 cases) received comprehensive nursing guided by critical thinking in addition to routine care. Changes in patients' coping strategies and improvements in cardiac function were observed. Results: After the intervention, comparison of SCSQ scale scores showed that the intervention group had higher positive coping scores and lower negative coping scores than the routine group (P<0.05); compared with the routine group, the intervention group had higher LVEF, lower BNP levels, and longer 6MWT distance (P<0.05). Conclusion: For patients with AMI complicated by arrhythmias, introducing comprehensive nursing under the guidance of critical thinking can more effectively encourage patients to adopt positive coping strategies and, on this basis, promote better recovery of cardiac function, demonstrating good clinical application value.
