Effect of Risk Grading Nursing Combined with Respiratory Function Training on Clinical Symptoms and Lung Function Improvement in Children with Bacterial Pneumonia

Abstract: Objective: This study explores the effect of risk grading nursing combined with respiratory function training on children with bacterial pneumonia. Method: A total of 120 pediatric patients were enrolled from March 2024 to March 2025 and randomly divided into a control group (conventional nursing) and an observation group (risk grading nursing+respiratory function training). Observation indicators include clinical symptom improvement time, lung function indicators, inflammatory markers, length of hospital stay, and complications. Result: The observation group showed better improvement in clinical symptoms such as fever resolution and cough relief, as well as a decrease in lung function indicators (FVC, FEV ₁, FEV ₁/FVC, SpO ₂) and inflammatory markers (PCT, CRP) compared to the control group. The hospitalization time and antibiotic use time were shortened, and complications were reduced (P<0.05). Conclusion: This combined intervention can significantly improve symptoms, lung function, reduce inflammation, shorten hospitalization and antibiotic treatment, reduce complications, and is worthy of promotion.
