Abstract: Objective: To explore the application effect of guided music accompaniment combined with respiratory analgesia in natural childbirth nursing. Method: 136 parturients who were hospitalized in our obstetrics department from January 2024 to January 2025 and planned to give birth naturally were randomly divided into an observation group (68 cases) and a control group (68 cases). The control group received routine delivery room care, while the observation group received a combination of guided music and respiratory analgesia on the basis of routine care. Compare the duration of labor, degree of pain, mode of delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal Apgar score between two groups of parturients. Result: The observation group had shorter duration of the first, second, and total stages of labor compared to the control group (P<0.05); The pain scores of the observation group during each stage of labor were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05); The natural delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the cesarean section rate was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05); The amount of postpartum bleeding in the observation group was less than that in the control group 2 hours after delivery (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in Apgar scores between the two groups of newborns (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Doule accompaniment and respiratory analgesia in delivery room nursing can effectively shorten the labor process, alleviate maternal pain, improve natural delivery rate, reduce postpartum hemorrhage, and has no adverse effects on newborns. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
