Research on Fault Prediction and Reliability Evaluation of Instrument Landing System Based on Multiple Analysis Methods

Abstract: With the continuous improvement of people's demand for time and efficiency, the frequency of people choosing to take airplanes for daily travel is gradually increasing, leading to enormous pressure and challenges at various airports in China. Only by ensuring the safety of flight can we provide a more stable guarantee for people's safe travel. The instrument landing system, as an important system in the air traffic control system to ensure the efficiency and safety of aircraft operations, provides navigation services for aircraft landing. Proper operation and maintenance of this system can ensure uninterrupted service for the aircraft. The research on fault prediction and reliability assessment of instrument landing systems is therefore even more important. This article first elaborates on the composition of the instrument landing system, and conducts in-depth analysis on the fault prediction and reliability evaluation of the instrument landing system from multiple aspects, hoping to provide corresponding assistance for the operation and maintenance of related equipment and the improvement of airport operation efficiency.
