Abstract: Some typical phenomena have been depicted in this paper along with the occurrence of fault in the process of single-phase grounding in 35kV system in two substations of 330kV as example. Then, through the analysis of the principle diagram and fault, the cause of the fault phenomenon has been expounded, and a set of fault finding process and the subsequent processing method that is simple and reliable has been put forward, which can be a reference for the operation and maintenance personnel.
