Abstract: With the rapid development of China's nighttime economy, regions across the country are actively increasing funding and carrying out neighborhood lighting projects to design lighting for traditional neighborhoods. In the past, there have been issues of homogenization in the design of neighborhood lighting projects, with a relatively uniform design approach, a lack of diversity in design methods, and an overall uniform and lackluster effect. To address these issues, it is necessary to respect neighborhood culture, adhere to sustainable development strategies, and prioritize people-centered approaches to create diverse neighborhood themes and enhance community participation. Taking the neighborhood lighting project of Jiefangbei to Chaotianmen Pedestrian Avenue in Chongqing as an example, this article analyzes the content of neighborhood lighting projects in detail, specifies the specific implementation measures for neighborhood lighting projects, and provides reference for neighborhood lighting projects.
