If this is the first time you contribute an article to the journal, please format your manuscript as per the sample paper and then submit it into the online submission system. Accepted papers will immediately appear online followed by printed hard copies by Ivy Publisher globally. Therefore, the contributions should not be related to secret. Exploration of Digital Empowerment for Green Transformation of Steel Enterprises

Abstract: Following the proposal of the “dual carbon” strategic objectives, China has accelerated its efforts to promote green and high-quality development, with various industries striving to achieve green and low-carbon operations. Steel enterprises occupy an important position among Chinese industrial enterprises. However, they have also attracted significant attention due to their status as the largest carbon emitters and coal consumers, placing them under immense pressure to reduce emissions. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China once again emphasized the importance of green transformation, urging steel enterprises to accelerate their green transformation to enhance competitiveness. This study starts from the motivations for green transformation in steel enterprises, exploring the necessity of green transformation and the challenges faced. It further investigates the paths through which digitalization can empower the green transformation of steel enterprises, focusing on top-down design, digital innovation, talent development, and process improvement.
