Urban Park Plant Landscape Construction from the Perspective of Regional Culture —Take Xuanwu Lake as an Example

Abstract: Plants are an important part of the urban landscape, and they are also the main carriers through which the urban cultural texture can be displayed. Plants are the only vital elements in the garden landscape. The mature plant landscape gives viewers a lot of sensory aesthetics while also mapping a unique culture. From the perspective of regional culture, this article based on literature reading, combing the history of Xuanwu Lake and Xuanwu Lake Park plant history and its context. Based on this, based on the curriculum research, combined with the personal experience of the weekdays, the plant landscape of Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing was taken as the research object, and the types, methods, and cultural characteristics of the plant landscape in the park were summarized. Combine the literature and research, summarize and evaluate the comprehensive park landscape, and put forward their own thinking on how plant landscapes embody regional culture.
