Green Development and Low Carbon Transformation of Agricultural Industry in Resource-Based Counties

Abstract: Resource-based counties rely on local rich traditional non-renewable resources to achieve economic growth, but in the long run, it will result in resource depletion, environmental and ecological fragmentation, which cannot be effectively solved by economy. Under the "14th Five-Year Plan", it is urgent to realize green transformation. Promoting green development of agriculture is a way to routinely solve the dilemma of agricultural development limited by resources, and it is also a favorable opportunity to deepen the supply-side structural reform of agriculture and promote the strategy of rural revitalization. Taking County A in Guizhou Province as an example, this paper summarizes the direction and strategy of industrial green transformation in County A through field observation and interviews, as well as the difficulties faced in the transformation, such as insufficient agricultural land, poor economic foundation and labor loss.
