Path Analysis of “Citizens Going to the Countryside” to Help Rural Revitalization

Abstract: Rural revitalization is not only the responsibility of the government but also social and individual forces. This article uses sociological semi-structured interviews, and conducts research through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and meeting records. "Citizens going to the countryside" is a product of a certain stage of social development. The main research object of this paper is the citizen immigrant group in this process. This group has a high level of knowledge, culture and technology, often has initiative and enthusiasm for public affairs, and bring new social networks and public spaces to the community. Immigrants are analyzed from five perspectives by analyzing the expression of multiculturalism they brought to the countryside, the introduction of modern service industries, the dissemination of ecological farming practices and concepts, the promotion of the practice of democratic consultation in social organizations, and the injection of new talents into the countryside. How group behavior affects and revitalizes the countryside. Immigrants have actually promoted the local rural development process with their own profound culture, society and capital. However, the real land-based dilemma prevents immigrants from further participating in rural revitalization, and it is necessary to further promote the development of rural revitalization through the reform and protection of the property rights system.
