Analysis of the Current State of Psychological Health among Nursing Staff and Preventive Measures — An Empirical Study on the Psychological Health Status of Nursing Staff

Abstract: This article selects 100 nursing staff members who worked at the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical University from January 2020 to June 2022 as the research subjects. Literature analysis, questionnaire survey, and statistical analysis methods are used to analyze the general information and the 21 Item Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) of the nursing staff members who worked at the hospital. Feasible preventive measures are proposed based on the psychological health status of the nursing staff. The research results indicate that the mental health status of nursing staff is relatively normal, and a small number of patients have severe anxiety and stress psychology. In clinical practice, measures such as emphasizing the popularization of psychological knowledge, intervening in medical staff anxiety through medical social work, and establishing a continuous social support system for medical staff can be adopted for prevention.
