Exploration and Practice of the Deep Integration of Research Practice and Accounting Teaching

Abstract: As educational reforms continue to advance, the deep integration of research practice and accounting teaching has emerged as a crucial approach to resolving the dilemma of “disconnection between theory and practice” in traditional accounting education. It is also an inevitable choice for cultivating “research-oriented practitioners” in the era of the digital economy. For accounting majors, integrating research practice into the teaching process not only enriches teaching content and enhances students' professional competencies but also cultivates their innovative and practical abilities. This paper delves into the significance, current status, and challenges of the deep integration of research practice and accounting teaching. It proposes a series of specific integration strategies from multiple dimensions, including updating educational concepts, enhancing teachers' capabilities, improving teaching management systems, and stimulating students' enthusiasm for participating in research practice. The aim is to provide valuable references for accounting teaching reform and facilitate the cultivation of high-quality accounting talents.
