The Practice of "Five Elders" under the Guidance of "Fengqiao Experience" — Take the Mediation of “Five Elders of Politics and Law in Yongzhou City” as an Example

Abstract: The Fengqiao experience, as a banner of China's grassroots social governance, embodies the exploration wisdom of generations of Chinese Communists to lead the people to innovate social governance, and provides experience for China's grassroots governance. According to the experience of Fengqiao, formulating a mediation mechanism adapted to the region is undoubtedly a feasible way to realize grass-roots governance, alleviate social contradictions and promote diversified social governance. Based on the above understanding, this paper takes the grassroots practice of the mediation mechanism of the five old people of politics and law as an example to discuss how to make the mediation mechanism under the guidance of Fengqiao experience in the grass-roots governance in the new era.
