The need of safe, convenient and fast transportation has also increased significantly. With the fast increasing of private vehicles, new patterns of pedestrians walking across streets are emerging. In this article, taking Jiaozuo City as an example, we will show our due diligence results on some possible factors that may affect the pedestrians walking pattern, including crosswalk line width, traffic lights timing, pedestrians mixture in Jiaozuo city, based on the pedestrian density. On the condition that we will analyze the effective width of crosswalk lines and other solutions such as shunt lines.
