Application and Performance Optimization of Novel Nanomaterials in Catalytic Reactions

Abstract: Nanomaterials have emerged as highly promising candidates for catalytic applications due to their unique properties, such as high surface area, tunable electronic structure, and enhanced stability. This paper explores various types of novel nanomaterials, including metal-based nanomaterials, carbon-based nanomaterials, metal oxide nanomaterials, and composite/hybrid materials, all of which exhibit exceptional catalytic properties. These materials are being increasingly applied in a wide range of catalytic reactions, such as energy conversion, environmental protection, and chemical synthesis. Moreover, performance optimization strategies, such as surface modification, structural design, and supported catalysis, have been employed to enhance the catalytic efficiency and stability of these materials. The paper also discusses key challenges and prospects for the future development of nanomaterial-based catalysts, emphasizing their potential to address global energy and environmental issues.
