Abstract: In order to research superplastic forming performance of 5083 aluminum alloy sheet, experiments on tensile properties of 5083 aluminum alloys under different temperature of 485℃, 505℃, 525℃ were carried out with the static material test system, the mechanical properties and microstructure of the high temperature were studied by microstructure analysis, thus the best process route of superplastic forming was established. The superplastic forming process of 5038 aluminum alloy part was simulated using Abaqus software, and the superplastic forming experiment was conducted. Tests showed that the bulging process under the temperature of 485℃ will conduct a better forming part and the Maximum thinning ratio can reach to 50%.
