The main focus of the journal is the academic papers and comments of latest improvement in the fields of basic theory, technology development and application of remote sensing science, report of latest research result, aiming at providing a good communication platform to transfer, share and discuss the theoretical and technical development of remote-sensing theory development for professionals, scholars, researchers and administrative staffs in this field, reflecting the academic front level, promote academic change and seize the theory, practice front line, research level and development direction of remote sensing science.

The journal receives manuscripts written in Chinese or English. As for Chinese papers, the following items in English are indispensible parts of the paper: paper title, author(s), author(s)'affiliation(s), abstract and keywords. If this is the first time you contribute an article to the journal, please format your manuscript as per the sample paper and then submit it into the online submission system. Accepted papers will immediately appear online followed by printed hard copies by Ivy Publisher globally. Therefore, the contributions should not be related to secret. The author takes sole responsibility for his views.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of slow remote sensing data transmission rate under the traditional C/S architecture, a parallel download idea based on multi-source FTP is proposed. The distributed architecture is used to store data in multiple copies, and dichotomy is used to dynamically obtain different sizes of data block, while the use of breakpoint continuingly method to ensure data download integrity, and finally merged into a complete remote sensing data. Experiments show that this method improves the download rate of data and improves the user downloading experience.

Keywords: Remote Sensing Data, FTP, Data Transmission, Data Block, Dichotomy, Breakpoint Continuingly
