Study on the Application of Follow-up Nursing Combined with Humanistic Care in Outpatients with Chronic Hepatitis B

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effect of implementing follow-up nursing combined with humanistic care in outpatients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). Methods: A total of 60 CHB patients were randomly assigned to two groups between February 2024 and February 2025. The control group received humanistic care alone, while the study group received additional follow-up nursing. Nursing outcomes were then evaluated. Results: Post-intervention comparisons showed that the study group had significantly lower SAS and SDS scores (P < 0.05), as well as lower AST, TBIL, and ALT levels (P < 0.05). Additionally, the study group demonstrated higher quality of life scores (P < 0.05) and better compliance rates than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of follow-up nursing and humanistic care in outpatients with chronic hepatitis B can alleviate negative emotions, improve liver function, and enhance quality of life, making it worthy of clinical application and promotion.
