Effect of Psychological Intervention on Emotional State and Blood Pressure Control in Patients with Hypertensive Heart Disease

Abstract: Objective: To explore the effectiveness and significance of psychological intervention in patients with hypertensive heart disease. Methods: A total of 88 patients with hypertensive heart disease treated in our hospital from January 2024 to February 2025 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group. The routine group (n = 44) received routine nursing intervention, and the intervention group (n = 44) also received psychological intervention. The improvement of emotional state and blood pressure level were observed. Results: After the intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the conventional group (P < 0.05). After intervention, the levels of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the intervention group were lower than those in the routine group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Psychological intervention in patients with hypertensive heart disease can effectively help patients reduce negative emotions, improve the effect of blood pressure control, and help patients get a better prognosis.
