Analysis and Countermeasures of Pain Points in Teaching Surveying and Mapping Program Development

Abstract: Based on the current teaching situation and guidance experience in competitions, this paper deeply analyzed the pain points of surveying and mapping program development courses, and implements a course teaching reform based on the BOPPPS model. Innovative design and implementation are carried out from six aspects: course introduction, learning objectives, pre-evaluation, participatory learning, post evaluation, and summary. Teaching practice has shown that student-centered innovative teaching based on the BOPPPS model has mobilized students' enthusiasm and initiative in learning, enhanced their hands-on and brain skills, and it is an effective teaching method. It has a certain universality for courses with strong practicality and is worth applying and promoting.
