Author: Meng Wang

Abstract: With the advent of the digital economy era, application-oriented universities are facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges in cultivating digital economy talents. This paper delves into the core competencies that digital economy professionals need to possess, encompassing mastery and proficiency in cutting-edge technologies such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and blockchain, as well as economic and management capabilities. Based on this, the paper proposes new principles and a framework for curriculum system construction. The curriculum system should be demand-driven, closely aligned with the latest trends in industry development, ensuring that what students learn is closely linked to market demands. At the same time, the curriculum system should be dynamically adaptable, capable of timely adjustments in response to continuous technological advancements, maintaining the timeliness and forward-looking nature of education. To achieve this goal, collaboration between industry and education should be strengthened through enhanced cooperation between schools and enterprises, jointly constructing three major course modules: "Fundamental Theory — Core Skills — Practical Innovation". This framework aims to cultivate students' comprehensive qualities, enabling them to possess a solid theoretical foundation while also equipping them with core skills and practical innovation capabilities.

Keywords: Digital Economy, Curriculum System, Interdisciplinary Integration, Practical Innovation
