Full Text(PDF, 299KB)
Author: Yutian Lei, Zhiguo Hu, Songtian Zeng
Abstract: Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs) for children with autism have been validated by numerous international studies for their effectiveness. This study developed a local intervention method based on NDBIs and conducted an 8-week pre-and-post control experimental study on 30 children with autism to examine its effects on the core symptoms of autism and parental emotional stress. The results showed that the intervention significantly improved the core symptoms of autism in children and also significantly reduced the anxiety and mental stress levels of the parents. The findings of this study provide scientific evidence for the effectiveness of related intervention methods.
